Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings’ most recent full-length, Give the People What They Want, was nominated for a Grammy for Best R&B Album.
Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings have sold over 600,000 records worldwide. It’s A Holiday Soul Party! is the group’s very first Holiday album.

Online ads begin around November and run through holiday season. Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings have been extensively covered in the national press since their 2005 album Naturally. The Dap-Kings have played on international hits by the likes of Mark Ronson, Paloma Faith, Amy Winehouse, and Michael Bublé, and the Dap-King Horns most recently played on Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (Featuring Bruno Mars).”

Daptone co-founder and Dap-Kings bandleader / songwriter Gabriel Roth won a Grammy for his engineering work on Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black. Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings have appeared on Later… with Jools Holland, The Andrew Marr Show and BBC Breakfast (UK). Early airplay for select tracks on BBC Radio 2 by Trevor Nelson and 6Music by Craig Charles.
